International Change and Strategy Associate (Dutch and English speaking)
Why this role exists
We’re scaling Avineon Tensing into a truly European performance‑driven organization and accelerating our AI strategy. To free up the Managing Director (MD) of Europe’s strategic time and to decrease the strategy‑to‑execution time, we’re hiring a Change and Strategy Associate who acts as a force multiplier.
You will be owning the operating rhythm, turning data into decisions, and driving improvements and transformations that increase scalability and protect profitability.
You will report to the Managing Director of Europe and collaborate with our country directors and (European) support services teams like finance and control, customer experience, employee
experience, and information technology.
Purpose of the role
As a Change and Strategy Associate you will expand the strategic bandwidth of the Managing Director of Europe by accelerating strategy to execution, supporting a robust operating rhythm and project-managing organization-wide improvement and transformation initiatives. Therefore, the emphasis is on alignment with the Managing Director and the subsequent hands-on execution through coordination, facilitation, and implementation, not secretarial tasks.
Authority and decision rights (mandate)
As a Change and Strategy Associate you will get the following mandate:
Cross‑country mandate, without line responsibility. Leads Europe‑wide initiatives & coordinates work across Belgium/France/Netherland/United Kingdom on behalf of MD.
Represent the MD’s decisions. Ensures follow‑up of decisions taken in monthly and quarterly country performance reviews. Sets deadlines, chases owners, and closes the loop. Escalating blockers when needed.
Challenge authority and escalate when necessary. Explicit license to challenge Country Directors and the Directors of Finance, Marketing and IT on commitments, (data) quality and KPI adherence. Escalating to the MD Europe when commitments drift.
Gatekeeper on readiness. May hold or pause starts on initiatives that don’t meet intake criteria (scope, capacity, risk/controls) and trigger an escalation path.
Access to data. Can request any metric, report or meeting input needed to run the operating rhythm and convene cross‑functional working sessions to remove blockers.
Strategic themes owned
As a Change and Strategy Associate you take ownership of the following themes:
Business Reporting: Support the business reporting cadence at the right level of detail per tier. Further improves the tiered rhythm (weekly / monthly / quarterly) and ensures coverage of operational KPIs and strategic KPIs tied to the OGSM.
Transition Projects: Drives cross‑functional transition programs such as our internal AI-transformation. Converting strategy adoption and measurable business outcomes in close support of the CTO.
Process‑improvement projects: Leads targeted improvement projects across Europe (e.g., forecast hygiene, process and tools harmonization projects). You perform portfolio-management on all the strategic projects.
Key responsibilities

Support the evidence gathering for monthly and quarterly reporting. Coordinate country directors and finance to collect input and the “story behind the numbers”
Transition projects
Translate strategy into execution with transition programs that ensure impact and scaled adoption.
